380 DAYS ON THE ROAD WITH THE BICYCLE...

Our job as travel- and photo journalists started in 1998/99 with the tour Jena-Yemen. Led by our permanent travel fever, we took a break after our undergraduate studies, and headed towards Yemen. Not by airplane, but powered by our own legs and pedals, we wanted to reach the ‘Pearl of the Orient’.

380 days, 14,000 km, and 14 countries, these are the bare numbers. But behind those, there is a lot more! Last but not least, our live changed significantly as a consequence of that adventure…
