LOLA ist da!
[03.06.10] Am 29. Mai 2010 hatte es Lola Annelie sehr eilig auf die Welt zu kommen. Die Geburt verlief schnell und unkompliziert, sodass wir einige Stunden später ihre große Schwester Saba Luna bei Freunden abholen und gemeinsam nach Hause fahren konnten. Die Wochen vorher zeigte sich Lola zu unserer Freude sehr kooperativ - sie hat sich nach unserem Wunsch lange ruhig in der dunklen Höhle verhalten und uns den Umzug ins neue Domizil realisieren lassen.
Canada Traverse finished
It is done! After a total of ten months and 8.000 kilometers on the bike, we reached the easternmost point of Canada – Cape Spear on Newfoundland. We cycled through the second largest country of the world from the Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast and crossed 6 time zones. Just barely did we fail the speed record by a few months, but the journey is the goal. Our daughter Saba Luna spent almost one third of her life in Canada. More...
Two new bike partners
[May 4, 09] On June 8, 2009, we will continue the Canada tour with our 3-year old daughter. We are still missing the last third of our bike traverse of the world's second largest country, the leg from Toronto to Newfoundland. We hope to reach St. John’s on the Atlantic after about 3 months.
We are very pleased to announce new cooperations with two German bike companies.
The plains & the Canadian Shield

RAFTING IN THE CANADIAN PLAINS
[Aug 05, 08] In order to allow Barbara’s leg a break from biking, and to treat ourselves to some change in the plains, we embark for three weeks on a self made raft with all our belongings. That’s three exciting weeks far away from civilization, through the absolute loneliness of the South Saskatchewan River.
NEXT PHASE OF THE CANADA TRIP
[July 03, 08] In June 2008, we continue our Canada trip there, were is ended abruptly with the accident in the past year.
We are overjoyed and thankful to be back on the bikes again only ten months later!
LICHTBILDARENA ON TOUR
[March 28, 08] The presentation tour through Germany in winter is the contrast to the photo trips during the summer months. About 25,000 km on the freeways in four months, more than 40 cities, and a lot of nice encounters with spectators, organizers, and facility managers. more...
